What We Do

GKW work on a wide range of groundworking and earthworking projects across the Home Counties (Berks, Bucks, Hants, Wilts, Oxon, Glos). Large or small, domestic or commercial, we will survey a site, take time to understand the brief and provide a written quotation for the work. You will know exactly what we will do and what you will be expected to pay for. If things change for any reason, and there will be any variation from the quotation we’ve provided, we will make sure that you agree before we undertake the additional work. No nasty surprises, no hidden extras, no risk.

Projects

Earthmoving – Bulk excavation, machines and drivers for hire or self hire by arrangement, long or short term assignments. Reliable drivers and machinery, good commercial rates, flexible terms.

Landscaping – from commercial sites to private gardens, full landscaping service available, including design and hard landscaping services, removal of excess material and creation of new gardens from scratch.

Lakes, ponds and waterways – extensive experience of planning and siting of lakes and ponds, design and build service, including lining and restoration work of existing waterways. Creation or replacement of moorings, using environmentally friendly materials wherever possible to limit impact on local wildlife/surroundings.

Farm Buildings – excavation of site, all groundwork/drainage/services, provision of suitable base (usually concrete) ready for erection of buildings.

Horse arenas/equestrian surfaces – full service provided, from survey of site to preparation of base, including excavation as required, levelling, using laser equipment, provision of hard core, membrane and top surface as required.
