GKW provides a comprehensive service for all earthworking and groundworking projects. All of our plant is modern and trustworthy, with our own contract fitter should the need arise, and machinery is fully covered by the necessary tickets, tests and insurances. Our clients range from large bulk excavators such as Hills Waste Solutions and Tarmac, to Sheepdrove Farms and Robin Williams, the renowned landscaper. Other clients include individuals, farm estates and commercial customers, all looking for a professional service, personal attention and value for money from an experienced and well equipped company which can deliver, on time, on budget and to the customer’s brief.

Mark Lambert, who oversees and manages all of our projects, without exception, has been in the earthmoving business for over 20 years and brings a wealth of experience to the team. He has worked with most of the main mineral extraction companies but has also worked extensively on more creative projects – designing and building a 3-D maze at Sheepdrove Organic Farm, creating formal gardens from scratch, planned, designed and dug lakes and ponds and worked on plots with particular features to accommodate – steep slopes, canal banks and difficult sites to access.

Mark has a portfolio of work demonstrating his real understanding of a customer brief and an ability to see beyond the ordinary.
